Hand-Split Shakes

Handmade from only the finest, straightest grain red cedar on the planet. Cedar Shakes are thicker than Cedar Shingles, giving a longer warranty. The surface is grooved from the splitting process giving a more rustic look.

Tapersawn Cedar Shakes

Tapersawn cedar shakes are a hybrid of shingles and split shakes. Like a shingle, both faces are sawn, as are the edges, giving the tapersawn a uniform appearance.

Cedar Shingles

Cedar shingles are sawn wood tiles for use on roofs and walls. They give a clean uniformed appearance.

Cedar Shakes are an inherently green product. Our Shakes are harvested from managed new growth forests, where new trees are planted to replaced those harvested.
